The logic of it is very disturbing.
Guns are for one thing, shooting, and there are different kinds of shooting, quite a bit of shooting is ir-responsible OWNERSHIP, accidents with guns being used for their intended purposes, such as hunting and collaborative security, are probably a tiny fraction of what is going on in total gun COSTS.
The power differences between a person(s) who choose to not carry a gun and anyone else who chooses to carry one, are another topic no one wants to talk about.
Guns. bestow. privileges. by the simple fact of what they do: SHOOT - whether they actually do that or NOT.
If there is so much danger that lots of people are carrying guns, how come I don't know about this danger when I'm out in public places with people carry concealed guns? I mean, if it were that bad, I'd know, wouldn't I? - so - Why exactly are people carrying guns everywhere?
Should I expect shooting in public places?
If not, then (other than responsible hunting and identified professionals) what ARE guns for?
What, exactly, needs to be shot at a moment's notice?
