My question is on the Korean adoptees are they from the South or North? I know many Koreans who were adopted and lived in the United States that were perfectly happy. How they were adopted I don't know, I think it would be too personal of a question to ask. I think it is a stretch to claim all Korean adoptions are a scam, which is what it appears the video is claiming. As for adoptees from other countries, I am less knowledgeable about them. I am somewhat familiar with the story of the Aborigines as I saw Rabbit Proof Fence a few years ago.

But then again it is possible some could be North Korean refugees. It probably wouldn't be a very high number though.

to more people's attention.

Unfortunately, we have a long way to go in this country. I hope I live long enough to see the media start addressing some of these issues. But I realize that I might not (and I'm only in my late 30s).

Dan Rather's special report was a good start. At least it acknowledged that the Baby Scoop Era happened. Now we need to expose the on-going modern-day abuses. But it isn't easy when no one speaking out has won an academy award, or a grammy, or anything like that.
