Word jumpers on DU really need to listen to this one, but I doubt they ever will.

He's right about ripping the guts out of language in order to make the unthinkable almost palatable.

His office was one floor below the National Press Club, and he used to take me up there all the time to hear the speakers. If I had known about this one, I think I would have flown back to the States just to have been there.

watching many of the available videos is he never appears to be using any teleprompter, cue cards or anything written for that matter. He also talks pretty quickly, so has a lot of material to memorize.
