Sandy was caused by global climate change on the EAST coast. Oklahoma City monster tornado was caused by global climate change in the SOUTHWEST. See the difference? Totally different.

They'd see themselves as firmly Midwest. The official line,near as I can tell, is that the Sandy relief bill was laden with pork where this one would be a clean bill with every penny gong to needful Oklahomans.

I know, lets find a sympathetic member of congress and introduce a bill.

The rider free bill. One prohibiting attaching riders to any bill. Submit it with a petition of support, 3 million signatures seems like a good number (works for NRA) and because we don't want Irony to explode and burn down the capital, keep riders off the rider free bill.

Shit hits the fan.

Allow for compromise.

Reduce scope of bill to disaster relief legislation to be rider free.
