Sandy was caused by global climate change on the EAST coast. Oklahoma City monster tornado was caused by global climate change in the SOUTHWEST. See the difference? Totally different.

The thing is, storms and tornadoes are getting "super-sized" thanks to human meddling that has affected the weather.

wrong on that because first, Inhofe would completely deny global climate change and second, Okies would deny being a Southwestern state or a Southern state for that matter. They'd see themselves as firmly Midwest. The official line, near as I can tell, is that the Sandy relief bill was laden with pork where this one would be a clean bill with every penny gong to needful Oklahomans.

a comprehensive package prohibiting riders to ANY and ALL disaster relief bills.

Then you pass the aid package.

Let me hold my breath waiting for that to happen!

A brave and stupid, stupid man. Stupid, stupid, stupid. And did I mention stupid?

But bravery is a virtue, right? Ah, not always. Aristotle says (in the Nicomachean Ethics) virtue lies in the middle, sometimes called the "golden mean." Take any virtue to an extreme and it becomes a fault. Stupid bravery leads people to jumping off bridges with bungee cords that are too long. Foolhardiness or rashness we call it.

Thats an actual good idea, so, it will fit in in washington like picking your nose with a snow shovel.
I know, lets find a sympathetic member of congress and introduce a bill.

The rider free bill. One prohibiting attaching riders to any bill. Submit it with a petition of support, 3 million signatures seems like a good number (works for NRA) and because we don't want Irony to explode and burn down the capital, keep riders off the rider free bill.

Shit hits the fan.

Allow for compromise.

Reduce scope of bill to disaster relief legislation to be rider free.

Sign in blood.
we good
