Medea Benjamin interview on RT

#!

Summary:

-- she can't reveal how she got in, "let's just say i have friends on the inside
-- good that he said he'd allow Yemenis to return to Yemen
-- good that he acknowledged that drone strikes create animosity
-- disappointed that he did not take drone strikes away from CIA
-- disappointed that he did not announce end to signature strikes
-- did not discuss compensation for innocent victims
-- does not like how he blames Congress, while he has authority to release prisoners from Gitmo
-- believes today's speech was an answer to pressure from people such as herself
-- not moved by his expressing respect for her opinions, would rather he take action
-- asked if she was grateful she didn't get dragged out, she said they did try to make her leave but she didn't go, said they didn't want to make a scene and she was glad she got the opportunity she got.

interruption may have become necessary .. of course if he was white (like me) the "heckler" probably would have been quickly silenced.
