This deal, known as the Trans Pacific Partnership, would be worse for America than both NAFTA and CAFTA. Ring of Fire host Mike Papantonio speaks with Lori Wallach from Public Citizens Global Trade Watch about why the T.P.P. is bad for America.

(29,067 posts)essentially, is make our government's decisions subordinate to CORPORATE decisions.
I found it absolutely CHILLING and, disappointed as I am with Obama, could hardly believe my ears,
thinking he'd enact enact anything THIS fascistic.
Seriously, I'm not trying to slam him, maybe he's being fooled, or manipulated,
but this trade agreement is VERY radical, very scary.

It's downright scary stuff and flying under the radar. I went to an independent newspaper here to get it on the radar, and the editor-in-chief took my prints of the above and plans to carry it next week.

(17,301 posts)Just 2 people to bribe, as if they needed to bribe their own hired guns. Corporations will have a field day destroying countries and abusing citizens with this T-Pee-Pee. I think we should just by-pass the middle men of our federal government and turn over everything we own to our kings - capitalist corporate royalty.

I will never vote for another corporate candidate again. If the candidate is put forth from one of the two major parties, he/she is a corporate candidate. Our election finance laws have ensured that.
Call them "spoilers" but as long as the candidate has sense and is not a corporate sponsored stooge, they will have my vote.
We need you Bernie.
