All-Male Fox Panel Laments Female Breadwinners
My response is good. Our society needs to be torn down and rebuilt and conservatives need to lose a generation that is the only way we are going to move forward. They see this is a bad thing, I look at it as a bright future. I really don't understand how any of these idiots ever get married or even get laid once in their lives the way they treat women.

takes on the dominant "breadwinning" role. First off, however, there are no other animal species that we know of that uses a monetary system. Some species have been trained to use a monetary system, like some monkeys, apes and birds, but there aren't any out in the wild as far as we can tell.
Secondly, there are many, many species where the female is the predominant leader in many categories. The big cats, lions, cheetahs and the like have the females do the hunting. The male lion just sits around and bangs the women when he feels like it.
So even when looking at nature, they're completely wrong on their stance.
When I first read about this story, I felt slightly bad, not because I'm male and see that I'm losing out to females, but because the US society was predominately male-hierarchical and women were given secondary-level jobs for the longest time, my conclusion wasn't that women were making gains, but that men were losing out on jobs to cheaper paid women. It wasn't that women were achieving the successes at the level of men, but that men were becoming expensive and it was more economical to hire women to do the job at 23% less pay.
That was my initial take on hearing the article. As it stands, being the breadwinner in a family, if nothing else, it should be 50-50 whether a family has a male breadwinner or a female breadwinner. Unless it's a same-sex marriage. Then, the whole concept of who is the top earner and who is the bottom earner is a different question altogether.
