She took the opposite conspiracy stand on her show which is very limiting to healthy skepticism.

Guess it all depends on what's in vogue at the moment ...
Can't question Boston or FBI ... check, check ...

My only problem here was the Chavez element some years ago, the number of skeptics greatly increased over the years.
Lots of questions about Boston and the FBI does have a questionable history. Fashion does seem to come and go.

. . it's hard for her to tell people what really happened since she wasn't there.

(358 posts)8. This "investigative" Globe reporter still wants to sell us
the story that Todashev somehow was involved in the Waltham murders.
Does this reporter - his name is Menzendes or so - not know that Todashev's widow several times explicitly said that neither she nor Todashev were asked by the FBI about the Waltham murders, that they only were interested in the relationship to T. Tsarnaev and the bombings?
Apparently, the FBI agent approached Todashev on the very last occasion (he planned to fly to Russia the next day) with the suspicion that he was involved in the Waltham murders. Allegedly the FBI got a mouthly confession. This "confession" seems to be the only "evidence" the FBI has against Todashev. Otherwise, why didn't they confront the couple with this evidence?
Oh - Todashev's widow might be lying. But his friend, Tamarov, tells the same. Given the mess that the FBI produced in the last week, is there any reason to give the FBI more credibility than these two individuals?
Not to me.
