Actually gives us a real insight into the Fox News/Conservative world view. Someone actually valuing knowledge for knowledge's sake? Approaching a subject without bias or an agenda? Trying to understand another perspective in a knowledgable way and not just to do a hachet job? Completely incompressible to the anchor.

You don't graduate from Northwestern in journalism without being intelligent. I understand she is very openly Christian, but, as a religious correspondent, she should understand that Aslan's book is far from being the most radical thing said by scholars (you have many in the camp that Jesus never existed). She should be aware of this body of literature as a religious correspondent (I am an engineer, and I am aware of it even though it has nothing to do with my job, and it is not even my primary non-professional interest). She should also be aware that literally thousands of Christians have talked about the formation of Islam - her line of questioning can be applied to each and every one of them (as well as to anytime a Christian writes about any faith). Finally, if you are going to impeach a scholarly source, I would not pull out William Lane Craig (it is ok for the Israelites to slaughter babies) as a scholarly source.

Interviewing is not one of her talents, and critical thinking might not be one of her talents, either. Or maybe she just had a day at work where she was very stupid.

Ted Cruz graduated from Harvard, and he's a dumb ass! Bush graduated from Yale and he is an idiot! Should I go on?

She didn't have the script down and she failed to act like a FOX "reporter."

If this were Hannity or O'Reilly, she would have repeated the talking points over and over without fumbling while shouting "pout rage" over the academician's responses. And getting louder each time.
