3. the library is kind of disappointing

i would expect something more and better from them. the house isn't vile like some wealthy people's but for some reason it doesn't have a comfy feeling for me even though it's a style a prefer over the more modern styles . but for them it would have a different feel since they put a lot of their own history and life into it.

if i was wealthy i would have a big ass library with high ceiling in some old gothic style. the rest of the home would be more plain and smaller.

Her taste in decorating--including her "vaunted Sally Quinn rose paint" leaves me unimpressed.

I'm one of those people who could never, ever live in a new built house. I love the energy, look and feel of old homes. I lived in a 200 year old brownstone, when I was stationed in Philadelphia. It's still my favorite location - great house in a fantastic city with more history than I could ever absorb.
