FCC Reins in Predatory Prison Phone Rates

The Center for Media Justice is reporting that the FCC also ruled that "commissions paid by prison phone companies to contracting government agencies (up to 70% of prison phone revenue) are not a cost of providing phone services and thus cannot be recovered."

By a two-to-one vote, the FCC last week voted to reform prison phone rates.

That is such a common error. It is as bad as its and it's. Most people don't know the difference.
