The Republican Circular Firing Squad

This segment originally aired on the August 18th, 2013 episode of Ring of Fire on Free Speech TV. The Republican Party is suffering from a severe identity crisis, but rather than trying to solve their problems, they’ve decided to attack members of their own party. Ring of Fire guest host Farron Cousins talks about the GOP’s circular firing squad with attorney Mike Burg.

in terms of congressional seats and other government power in the Sixties and Seventies that the "Baggers" have today, we might be in far better shape. Instead intelligent and sensible candidates such as George McGovern and Eugene McCarthy were tarred by the right wing as near "Commies." The teapartiers, in actually smaller numbers than the more left wing back then, are scaring, rather than winning over the more rational minds in the Republican party. It's fairly obvious that this is already turning off the rational minds in the electorate as well. Keep pushing it, Teabaggers. Rational Republicans: grow a spine, along with the Democrats.
