And they actually brought up charges of impeachment on him.

People are doing this president, this country, this party and for that matter race relations no damn good making this about BO being black.

This is 100 percent about him being a democrat.

If this was (and god willing it will be in a few years) Hillary, they would be babbling about impeachment just the same.

Their usual petulant bullshit.

Can't talk about impeachment for a president who damn well deserved it because it would tear the country apart.

But, if it is a democrat you spend the entire term fishing around for SOME reason to try to impeach him or her, regardless of color, gender or whatever.

They loved them some Pizza clown, they liked Colin Powell plenty before he committed the mortal sin of ... supporting a democrat.

You aren't getting the point.

Their party absolutely caters to the lot of the lowest of the human elements, including those people who are racist.

I am not saying that element is not there. But, it simply is the flavor of their choosing to channel their energies to take down this democratic president.

If Hillary Clinton was President they would be channeling all of the women hating elements they would trying to take her down.

Meanwhile, the biggest twits this side of twitdom in the Palin's and Bachmans are reverered by them.

It about the team, R vs D.

The race baiting is the means to the end of trying to destroy a democratic president.

all that is true. American politicians of a certain political party are racist POS. American politics has always had a racist element to it. A large element in it. Southern strategy in the 70's, white racist democrats were used by Nixon to defeat a liberal who might have leveled the playing field even more. Reagan was one of the most racist pigs we've had as a POTUS. GWB with his neocon racist policies had a whole cabinet full of them, set up this voting mess we have now with their conservative mindset. His father putting a clarence thomas in a SCOTUS seat was a fucking joke after a brilliant justice like Thurgood Marshall had vacated. I could go on and on about how large that racist element is now, but what's the use you can't see, I can't care. I have lived a while in this country and I say racism has gotten worse with the ascension of Barack Obama to POTUS. No, you don't get the point.

If someone are trying to trolling and twisted Coburn's words, I won't accept that because trolling doesn't fits into the vernacular of being a Liberal. I have no love for Coburn, period, but I just do not like that someone who claimed to be a Liberal would try to pull us down to teabaggers and teashits' levels. I won't accept that.

Bill Clinton, his wife and their staffers were persecuted for 5 years and left with a mountain of legal bills. What criminal act did Starr find after wasting millions of tax payers' money on that witch hunt? That a married man lied under oath, after being entrapped, about a sexual act between two consenting adults. Big freaking deal!!!!!!!

Are we going to go down that path again with Obama? What possible grounds for impeachment do they have against him?

How come Bush, Cheney, et al. weren't impeached over the two wars they started on false information?

44. Republicans Are Oh So Predictable
Sat Aug 24, 2013, 11:44 AM
Aug 2013

As Republicans left for the August recess passing but 4 of 12 appropriation bills I predicted that when they came back from the recess they would put together one giant appropriations bill to extend current spending, including the sequester, for 3 months. Well, I got the timing slightly wrong as yesterday Boehner called for just such a bill but for 4-5 months. The reasoning was always obvious as Republicans want to first address the debt ceiling where they think they have better leverage. The leverage is the same.

So, what does this have to do with impeachment? Well, Republicans think that impeachment gives them that leverage. Impeachment will so scare Obama that he will collapse on the Affordable Care Act and all of his other legislative proposals and the Republicans win even though they drop impeachment charges. This is so nuts on so many levels but this is how this current crop of nihilists Republicans "think". But I don't think the Republican ranks will hold together on such a wildly nuts agenda and it all stalls out in Congress. Why? Just look at what happened with the Transportation bill in the House as they rushed out the door for the August recess. Business Republicans wouldn't go along with the spending levels in the bill meaning Boehner didn't have the votes to pass the bill even though he had a majority of Republicans supporting the bill. September will be a sad spectacle in Washington D.C. as there are only 9 working days for them to get things figured out before the government gets shut down. And government will get shut down because of the complete disarray and dysfunction in the House.

If the Republican House proceeds with an attempted impeachment of President Obama, the move will cause the death of the Republican Party! 35% of the crazies and racists in this nation would support it, but to 65% of the rational people it would be viewed as the vindictive, bull shit, political ploy that it would be.

The GOP impeached a popular president in Bill Clinton over a blow job, said nothing about the Republican President George Bush and VP Dick Cheney, who deliberately lied this nation into a war that killed 100,00 +, and then after obstructing EVERYTHING President Obama has tried to do, under this scenario, would desperately try to impeach the man over "something", "anything." The Republicans would go the way of the Federalists and Whig Parties if they try it.
