US Rep. Blumenauer just said last night in Portland that 1 million Americans have
"top secret" clearance and full 1/2 of them, 500,000, work for PRIVATE corporations.

He also wisely said: "The government over-classifies information, he argued, leading
to an unnecessarily large security apparatus that has too many weak points"

it is laying off 90% of its system admins., relying more on computers to do the unsupervised work.

What could possibly go wrong????

4. They bring up some Very Important points in short order.

I don't mind some gov't surveillance, but this is totally out of hand and could be read in the tea leaves over the last decade+. Corporations and their brethren need to be reined in extensively.
