Papantonio: The Chemical Weapon Double Standard
A large portion of the American public doesn’t quite understand why the United States is choosing this point in time to get involved in the Syrian conflict. The reason, we’re told, is that they used chemical weapons against their own people, and this is unacceptable. However, mass murders have been taking place for years, but the US didn’t do anything about that. Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio and author Paul Waldman help explain the chemical weapons taboo.
