VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/amanpour-explodes-at-cnn-syria-panel-stop-spewing-false-moral-equivalence/

CNN Chief International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour flipped out on the AC360 Later Syria panel Thursday night, calling out the “false moral equivalence” of anti-interventionists. She clashed with blogger Andrew Sullivan over the emotion in the case, shouting down her fellow panelists to get a word in edgewise.

or anyone "flipping out". I did see her passionately debate her point.

Mediaite is such crap. What news pundits say about the news, now becomes the news.

Both moral equivalence and false moral equivalence:

“The point of protesting about 'moral equivalence' is surely not to blur moral choices on ‘our side’. Is it?”

I first noticed her during the run up to the Iraq war...I was watching a pirated sat feed that all the news organizations used. But we got to watch the 24 hour feed not just the blurbs on the networks. So we got to hear background ...things the reporters discussed amongst themselves among other things. I got to hear Ms Amanpour blessing out her (station manager?) regarding how and what she was going to report. It was an interesting moment to say the least. I have since then always thought that she always speaks her mind. I respect her...She was just like that on the phone that day....there is only so much of the bullshit she can put up with...then she blasts em!

going on I would like to hear her opinions re. Syria in an interview, one on one. She knows more about Mid East than most of the blowhards.
