So far the gossip about the oil wells are shut down (48 of them) but they need to check for safety reasons (yeah right) before opening them up again. If I was Colorado, I'd ask them to seal, permanently and then tell them to go fuck off. Their profits are gone, and they will have amassed a massive loss thanks to the floods.

As far as our water goes, everything from up north (and west) flows down to the South Platte River, and that's where we get our drinking water. So not only the fracking liquids may be on it, but shit (sewage) could be as well, so the danger is there.
