If you saw the movie "My Dog Skip" Kevin Bacon plays a character who had lost his leg fighting for the Spanish Republic. Almost all Americans who fought in the Spanish Civil War on the side of the Spanish Republican had been organized in the so-called "Abraham Lincoln Brigade" which had been organized by the American Communist Party. Thus proving that Kevin Bacon is a Communist.
