Detroit Is The Midwest, The Midwest Is Detroit

While Kevyn Orr and Michigan Republicans took over Detroit's governance this past summer, something that many forgot to mention is that Detroit's problems aren't just Detroit's. Large swaths of almost every Midwestern City exhibit the same kind of decline that Detroit has, only with less publicity.

Until America addresses its trade policies that destroyed Detroit and the Midwest, decline will only continue.
