1. A video worth watching because it provides a perfect example

of how corporate America uses ambiguously worded laws (they lobbied for) to trick citizens into facilitating their take over of public institutions (or convince communities to give them huge tax breaks).
The last time the local, public school, teacher's contracts had to be renegotiated an ad hoc "citizens" group showed up at the board meetings and demanded to have a roll in the negotiations. As citizens, and therefore our bosses, they were allowed this input. They were there to insist that teachers had to be evaluated according to their student's standardized test scores.
We need to be vigilant in our political actions and affiliations. There are many Machiavellians in our midst.

2. I've notices that,

charter schools include big Musical and art curriculums. while Public schools have been expected to cut theirs. If you ask charter schools to cut their Music and art's courses they will fight tooth and nail because the say these courses are important for children. level the playing field and watch the charter schools fall behind!
