The reality is that there is more than enough blame to be spread around. Consider for example the enormous amounts of misinformation and disinformation put out by big money interests. People who simply don’t know better, and who aren't exactly interested in civics are going to take what they hear first as gospel, more often than not. Sadly, that’s the majority of folks out there.

The more we educate others on what is going on, the more we have actual decent voter turn-outs AND a tendency toward more progressive results.

I'm not saying the voter isn't partly to blame for our present circumstance, but to place full blame on just the voter is more than a little naïve.

No, I didn't call a differing opinion "stupid". That's a gross mis-characterization. I said it was naive... and it is.
Attacking my comment doesn't make it less so. The facts are there is a myriad of factors that affect our current
situation, and focusing on just one of those factors is akin to saying "This, and only this, is really the problem". Its a distraction from all the other aspects of the issue... just like attacking a comment you don't like is also a distraction from the problem at hand.
