(41,829 posts)for me it was those chocolate covered cherries.. As a kid, I would eat so many, I would get physically sick... I have not had one for years now.. I know if I did, I would probably start to feel ill!!
Just looking at this makes my stomach queezy ..

(15,882 posts)Lots of candy producers are taking their business, and jobs, out of the country. We support the price of sugar from mfrs, but not the end product. Consequently their costs for the raw product have doubled over last year, and are twice what they would pay on the wholesale mkt outside of this country.
They try to fight it, but the sugar producing states own their own politicians, so it's near impossible.
Story in the WSJ this week about this, this week, I think. Don't have it here. One place is taking 400 jobs South, and more are following or thinking about it.

(4,106 posts)Don't have any of that..lol. Fun film and interesting. 35 million pounds is made a year. Enough to circle the moon 21 times so it's pretty popular. Always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
