He is supposed to defend the Constitution. Sounds like he is doing anything but that. He should lose his rank and his commission along with everything else associated with his service. Talk about a traitor. There you have it.

He does not seem to have read the First Amendment. It was included in the Bill of Rights with the intention of limiting the power of the government and of the military.

Truth be told, the Founding Fathers did not want or foresee a standing military force. So Alexander is in the wrong here. If the Supreme Court agrees with him on this, just forget the Constitution.

The protection of the Freedom of the Press is the VERY FIRST ITEM listed in the Bill of Rights. Alexander appears to want to violate at it.

Wow! Is he planning some sort of military coup? Who are the enemies of the US here? I hope he will retract his statements.
