Maybe I'm naive, but I would assume that something to that effect is part of training.

(905 posts)I think that SM hit it right on the head and most wing nuts forget that . For wingnuts if you are not white rural and stupid you are not an American -All you have to do is listen to the wing nuts when they say real American or True America , like anyone in a city is not a true American

(12,882 posts)But it registers a LOT less with me with this being a "Gotcha!" setup - or maybe more appropriately, a "Candid Camera" moment. I would rather see a faux reporter stopping folks on urban sidewalks in Missouri or Arizona or Idaho and flashing them images of persons in typical muslim garb, or Sikh, or farmworker get up - and ask for first thoughts. I mean..... don't we already get enough staged news from the MSM?

(14,173 posts)I wish they would have questioned him a little more about his beliefs though instead of just giving him a sounding board.
And it makes me wonder how many people just were silent that they filmed but never made the final cut. I've seen this show before and a lot of times they give numbers as to how many do nothing. One wonders if they purposely omitted this stat.
