may mean something...I don't know. Was this an attempt to re-establish the credibility of 60 minutes--or hers? To me, it had the opposite effect.

And the tea baggers are all over it, and will never listen to any correction...and should they hear it from someone they will claim it is a liberal lie.
That is the sad state we are in.

If this was a Faux News story they would NEVER apologize and would just sweep it under the rug and move on to the next "scandal"! Instead the hacks at CBS make all journalists less credible

had not been so great, I highly doubt that 60 Minutes would be apologizing. I mean, they've done interviews with Scalia and Christie that paint them in a positive light.

Fuck 60 Minutes!

Where was he really?

If he lied on CBS, why?

Did he also lie to the FBI and to his employer?

How can we know that he told the FBI and his employer the truth?

He seems to make things up very easily, and he seems to be able to lie very easily.

Why did he put himself in the middle of this controversy? What is going on with him?

What was he doing in Benghazi? What does he know about the situation?

He wrote a book? Is he just trying to sell his book? If I were his publisher I would take it off the market if it is known to be a lie.

Go over to Digby's Hullabaloo and read the excerpts from Kevin Drum's article. Looks like she was trying to stir the pot and got caught in a lie.

She was nearly orgasmic after the first presidential debate that Obama blew (and was among those who breathlessly said the race was "too close to call" from that point on), and she's been the main CBS attack dog during the so-called Obamacare scandal.

When you realize she's involved with the Federalist Society, none of her "fair and balanced" reportage is too surprising.

this woman should be no where near network television. Or a TMZ podcast for that matter.
