Escalators don't seem to fit his description of moving sidewalks, and he may be a bit off in his predictions about work and leisure in 2014. Otherwise, it's pretty impressive.

I'm pleased to read futurist predictions that aren't too tremendously wrong. Robert Anton Wilson got excited about a future full of Marilyn Monroe sex robots (sounds kind of scary, glad we don't have that), and Michio Kaku thinks the sky is the limit, given adequate energy resources. There was an article the other day describing how a Doctor Who Tardis could be a real thing in the future, really and for-truly. A lot of futurist stuff sounds... kinda whackadoodle-y. Maybe Asimov seemed like a loon in 1964, too.
