White Man Runs As Black Man in Houston, And Wins

Houston Conservative Republican Dave Wilson is under fire for running for his seat on The Houston Community College Board after winning a close election over incumbent Bruce Austin. Wilson, a white man, campaigned by sending literature to residents that featured no pictures of Wilson, but rather, lots of pictures of African-Americans designed to look as if they approved of Wilson. The Republican won by 26 votes, prompting some in the black community in Houston to protest, saying that he won by misrepresenting himself as black, a charge Wilson doesn't deny.

Because while he seems like a real stooge in his politics, he's proven what a sham political advertising is.

I find that strange, in this age of television.
NO news show had his picture up?
No images from the internet?

the election for Community College Board was just ignored by the media, it not being a race that would get any ratings. Sounds like it was totally ignored.

we need Photo ID,s on the ballots of candidates. Isn't Texas one of the states clamoring for voter ID,s for"some" voters?Seems only natural that they would agree for some kinda ID for candidates.NOT.

Based on his race(if that is what actually happened). If it was left up to me, there would be no party labels on the ballot. You vote for only the people you know about not the party you know. Low information voters are part of the problem we have in this country
