This ABC experiment on race dynamics is easily the best thing I've seen on television in years. The result blows my mind, and at 1:50, I literally yelled, "You've got to be kidding me!" at my screen. Let me know if you do, too.

You get a couple people who ask the white guy... and then walk away. Then the black kid they swarm like a mob. Fascinating. And the girl.... they help her! LOL! and the guy who's wife is with him....

Maybe one day we'll be a society where race is the equivalent hair color but right now we have got to start ending it ourselves.

Have to admit, its pretty funny watching someone attack a lock when all he needs to do is lift the bike and chain over the four foot tall sign and carry it away.

Curiously - what would the show have done if someone had called the cops?

Do not know what to make of the men trying to help the woman 'steal' the bike - hormones over sense? I wished they'd used a black woman as well in this experiment.

The show arranges some sort of exception or oversight with the police department when they are running scenarios like this one.

The one with the truck driver and the underage runaway was a real eye opener too. People definitely called the cops on that episode.

Great experiment. Really shows the range of reaction. A pretty girl can get away with murder. Some of those guys would have loaded the gun and adjusted the sights for her.

The young man of color was facing a near lynch mob while the two whites were ignored or even helped. This was a great experiment because it clearly shows how different perception is based on physical appearance and that white folk can get away with all sorts of crimes.
