2. ALEC once again! This toxic Koch think tank really needs to GO.

It's astounding to me that our media are fixated on a website and keep hammering on website glitches while ALEC is slowly infesting our country, state by state to the detriment of the average American taxpayer.

What's also startling? Except for Bill Nelson of Florida, all the others (as far as I saw) were Republicans - the "Big Gubment is Evil" people who want to cut spending on programs our poor and working poor need, but who have no problem siphoning off taxpayer money in massive amounts to private business. It's shameful.

CCA also runs very profitable probation services in many places. They lie to probationers so they can be "legally" violated. This ends in incarceration for the many people who "violate" their probation.
In Tn., they are very lucrative, have many judges and lawyers as investors and almost anyone who goes to court gets (at least) probation, to start with...
