I was thinking about HMS Sheffield during the Falklands War, She had an alloy Superstructure. An Exocet Missile struck her and set it on fire. The Ship pretty much burned to the Waterline.

Almost as bad as a reality show with all the failures of equipment, guns that don't shoot straight, high pressure rubber hydraulic lines that should be steal braided hoses, and accompanying drama. I'd hate to be on one of these new ships under fire. They better figure out how to make them offensive weapons soon or else they'll just be moving targets.
