Very interesting debate about whether JFK was a cold warrior or not, among much more history. Part 2 ends on a very positive note, and the series is gonna also talke about the theories. Given the quality of TRNN (for example confronting Peter Kuznick with Chosmky's dissenting opinion) I look forward to the other parts coming.

(15,512 posts)Props to Peter Kuznick for attempting to set straight the record that Chomsky and his followers have spent 50 years lying about. And not in a way that can be attributed to carelessness, ignorance, religious prejudice or anything else. Just flat out lying about Kennedy and the readily available "internal documents" he claims to have studied. Why Chomsky would do this I can only speculate.
Anyway looking forward to more in this series!

(2,916 posts)his death is ugly. Most of the second interview with Glen Ford was just indulging in speculation and nasty speculation at that. I expected better from Paul Jay.

(5,379 posts)a) TRNN & Reality Asserts Itself is gonna delve into JFK much further, and not just on the anniversary, if I read Paul Jay correctly
b) You may want to watch this segment as well, besides the Ford one (which I haven't, so I will). The fact that TRNN presents both lines of reasoning, in depth, is precisely what I like about them. Socratic debate, and all that.
