Well the lady used a walker so I pushed the cart for her. Usually when folks want to do Wallmart I do not go in and once, I often tell them that I don't shop there because of many reasons, so I will do something else while they are shopping.

I figured I would look at this great place and figure out if there was anything really grand about it. It was pretty weird though. The aisles were so narrow that it was tough to get two carts down the aisles at the same time. The end aisles were wide but had double pallets in most areas. This was in a building that was 200 thousand sq ft, in the sales area.

Then of course there was company meeting almost directly in the middle of the store with what do you call those folks Associates or schmucks or ? Doing jumping jacks and counting in cadence and singing the company song.

All pretty bizarre.

In the Walmart commercial that is excerpted at the beginning of this video and that plays on MSNBC a lot, one of the people says that Walmart matches their charitable giving. Sooooo.... is Walmart matching their employees' giving to this charitable food drive? Also, who decides (and on what basis) which employees get the food donated by other employees.?

Back in 1993 I worked for a department store that was going out of Business.
I was a fulltime employee I worked 8 hrs days, i worked 4 days a week and one evening shift

When the store was slated to close a couple of guys from Walmart came to the store trying to snag up Employees from my store.

They tried to sell us on the 3 shift work day. In my store we had 3 shifts. 8-5pm, 2 - 10pm, and part time was 5pm to 10 pm weekend the hours were different.
Part timers only worked evening and weekends

The three shift work day at Walmart broke a 12 hr shift into 3 4-hour shifts

that meant that they didn't have ANY fulltime employees it was scam. and most of the full time workers rejected that.

so when I hear the news saying a fulltime employee makes XX amount per yer. I am wondering what the hell are they talking about?

So has Walmart changed the 3 shift work day?
