The Kennedy Assassination - Beyond Conspiracy

This is long but well worth watching. It's also done by the BBC who would not have a horse in this race. The part I found most interesting was the part about Oswald. He was clearly just a disturbed person who unfortunately happened to have a job in a building that gave him a clear shot.

2. That Oswald killed Kennedy, certain or not, more likely certain, does not answer the question

about whether Oswald was encouraged, emboldened or otherwise assisted by third parties.

For example, it is unclear whether Oswald could have known the motorcade route since the newspaper printed incorrect information.

It is possible that Oswald had help, maybe from someone "inside."

These are perhaps unreliable websites, but the issue about how Oswald would have known the motorcade route is just one example of a problem with theories that completely deny the possibility that Oswald had help or was part of a conspiracy with the role of doing the actual shooting and taking the blame.

That the route was uncertain until the day of the motorcade does not mean there was a conspiracy, but the possibility that Oswald was supported in shooting the president by some person or persons with inside knowledge is difficult to completely disprove.

I found this video to be very tedious and condescending.

is not trust inspiring. Authoritarianism and smugness is in very ill repute.

I keep codgering on myself with the most obvious and well documented point by now- and as it was claimed by Dulles and Hoover and others directing the investigation. That if any connections come up as they did with the sundry other secret, illegal and conspiratorial they investigation would be boxed with the provided ribbon. There were groups, some part of our wonderful foreign policy military etc. establishment all intertwined, even including kennedy that would have come out under any investigation. Any type of real investigation, including the Warren Commission showed oswald rubbing elbows with this pile of spaghetti. If it was just opportunistic, remote, LIHOP or even extra gunmen it rationally should not have happened for the same reason. Castro became entrenched, Kennedy's agenda steamrolled ahead, the Cold War sputtered. The mob, for all the probable panic killings, continued to sink from its involvement in black ops and highwater political influence. The Joint Chiefs got canned. No specific accountability but things happened- unlike 911- for real progress.

There were death threats and conspiracies. heads should rolled for things beyond or touching upon JFK. The wall is still up with all its holes.

4. The one possibility I can think of in there being a cover up would be to prevent war

Maybe there was some Soviet or Cuban involvement? I doubt it but it's possible and if so it was probably not signed off on by the main Gov. but a faction of the USSR or KGB. But my sense is the US Gov. was pretty dam nervous the American people would want to go to War with the USSR if true and finding out someone in the USSR or Cuba had something to do with it probably would have lead to Nuclear War. If there was a cover up, I am guessing it was to prevent an escalation of War which would have been the right call in my opinion.
