Thanksgivukkah.... with help from Mel Brooks

... This year Chanukah and Thankgiving were celebrated together. People have called it Thanksgivukkah

I have been trying to find a connection between the holidays.

Mel Brooks beat me to it.

There was an Indian Chief in the old west who spoke Yiddish.

It was Mel Brooks greatest work (my opinion) and it got most of its laughs at the recognition of racism. Because, not only was he a comic genius (a term thrown around now that makes it almost meaningless), but he could see the great humor in his own upbringing and life experiences. Love the movie, love Mel Brooks. Cool dude.
