Oh, he doesn't?

Gee, I wonder why...

Seriously, the Bible is to actual science what it is to dentistry, outdated and obsolete.

Science has moved on.
Creationists haven't.

Hope someone from Texas can straighten this out, but I am under the impression that (at least) the science books will be published with mainstream science. Anybody know?

Our side won largely because of a peaceful but determined and well organized group called the Texas Freedom Network that has carried out the political fight along with its national arm the National Center for Science Education(NCSE) whose rep you saw testifying in the film.

Their next fight will be next year for the Social Studies texts.

The TFN is a good group to support and if you look in your state you will probably find a group affiliated with NCSE that needs your support. These groups have been very effective in fighting back with facts against the right wing groups that still live in a pre-Renaissance world.

That's what's being advocated for by the far right activists on the TX State Board of Education. Sickening.

My spouse just read the novel Christian Nation. I couldn't get myself to read it--not only sickening but scary--but I'm very much aware of the agenda the Dominionists et al have in mind. Spread the word!

in this country.
For fools like Mcleroy, a place where he can go to be prayed over. He could even be a leader in the field of bible based dentistry.

for the rest of us we go to one of those hospitals that practice science. Same with dentistry.
