3. K&R!!! Experts on both sides of litigation frequently exaggerate or lie!

I have deposed many expert Pulmonologist in asbestos cases and seen the exact same thing. My screen name "Dustlawyer" comes from working the "Dust Docket" of asbestos and silica claims. It is a terrible thing to see big corporations lie and cover up known hazards for generations, killing millions. The defense blames it on "greedy trial lawyers!" I always look at these experts and wonder if they ever feel guilty over lying to keep a very ill, or terminal victim from recovering damages from the companies who knowingly caused it to happen, while keeping the end users and their own employees from ever learning the truth.
