I wondered what the heck happened when I turned on CSPAN2 Friday afternoon and saw re-runs and no live Senate session. And the gasbags in the corporate M$M refused to utter a single word about what transpired after all of their vainglorious reporting of the GOP "revenge" - i.e., their intention to use all of their designated debate time for each of the nominees, with the expectation of a round-the-clock blabfest to run through to early Saturday morning.

After much digging, I finally found an article from USA Today that noted that instead, they had recessed until next week (with a Monday confirmation vote scheduled for 2 more nominees including Jeh Johnson) and later next week, the confirmation vote for Yellen and another D.C. Court of Appeals nominee.

Democrats didnt change the rules years ago was because they feared the wrath of the mad Republicans. IMHO many of the Democrats wanted the excuse that the bad, mean Republicans werent letting them do the right thing. Their corporate sponsors were grateful.

But, let's face it.

You can't spend every waking hour in terror that the Right Wing Media might say something bad about you because of something you did because they're going to say something bad about you anyway.

Besides, you lose your OWN supporters if you are worried about what THEIR supporters think of you.

I want those fuckers up there every damn day and night until they do something for the people of this country or until they freaking drop dead. Put a guard at the doors. No exit.

That no good bunch of Koch paid traitors should be locked in the Senate with nothing but a mop bucket to do their duty in since it's cleaner than what they have to say. Turn off the heat. Give 'em bread and water, let them see how it feels to freeze and starve to death.

This isn't one bit funny to me. And next year more of the same from this bunch of...

Okay, I'll stop there.

11. Most amusing to me is the camera/ photo op of the janitor staff unloading nasty old roll-a-way cots.

There is no way anyone is sleeping on those old, nasty things. These Senators spend more money on their hair cuts than the cost of those uncomfortable cots. The funniest is that they actually bring them in, line them up in one or 2 rooms, and then make the beds up. Most of these people have more comfortable furniture in their office (I'm rather sure that's where the hanky-panky sex scandals occur), rather than those old motel looking cots. They must still be around since the late 70's or early 80's. LOL. Dumb assed kabuki theater with bad acting.
