Afshin Rattansi goes underground to report on the UK government's policy of extraordinary rendition, speaking to MI5 whistleblower Annie Machon. A group of young mothers is threatened with eviction just before the holidays -- Jeremy Corbyn MP weighs in. Plus, if you can't remember what the Conservatives promised ahead of the elections, it's probably because they don't want you to!

- This is the reason they keep killing babies and women. Why wedding parties are ''mistakenly'' droned. What better way to assure a continuing supply of ''threats'' to democracy. They're doing it for the economy.....

RT is just interviewing her. RT is like other stations. They interview people and get their opinions.

when I think of the risks they took in settling and starting families in uncharted wilderness areas of the US, when I think of the many women who became pregnant in lonely farmhouses and log cabins in the prairies in spite of the high risk of death in childbirth, I am horrified at the fear of Americans living in cities with helicoptered machine-gunned police forces to fight off the bad guys should any appear.

I wonder if our vulnerability to fear itself is some sort of memory of the fear of our ancestors. It sounds like a crazy theory, but compared to the fear that the early Americans rightfully knew, how can we claim to be afraid. Terrorists? Personally, I think we can take care of them very well. Americans are intelligent, resourceful, creative, tough, strong and resilient. At least, the Americans in my family are.
