Thisi is the 2nd video I've seen from this guy. The other was about Duck Dynasty, and he certainly has an angry way with words. Hilarious.

Thanx for posting.

Where they followed state laws?

Conservative pro-gun activist Ted Nugent will have to surrender his gun at the NRA’s annual meeting this weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. “NO GUNS ALLOWED” is the message the NRA sent to its members attending the annual meeting in North Carolina. State law prohibits the carrying of firearms in the Charlotte Convention Center and the Time Warner Cable Arena, where the NRA’s annual meeting will be held.

All of the NRA’s leadership, membership and special guests that include Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Oliver North and Glenn Beck will be forced to give up their weapons, because the law bans firearms – open or concealed carry. The NRA has not used this law to protest infringements on 2nd Amendment rights.

Even with complaints on pro-gun social media sites, the NRA accepts the law and simply informed ALL those attending that contrary to their dedication to promoting being armed in America – they will not be allowed to enter the convention with their guns.

where guns were allowed?

I would think a group like the NRA would try to schedule their meetings in places that "respected their gun rights."

So I'm safe then in assuming that this event in North Carolina was a fluke?

But at least they are following the laws and putting that out to their members. I have no idea on other years what the laws and regulations are at the event sites and how they pick them.

I just pointed out it was not the NRA preventing weapons it was actually the state of North Carolina.

I think they have a range in basement where leadership - like Norquist, John Bolton, Ollie North, Nugent, gun CEOs, etc. - can shoot targets resembling humans, even the Trayvon Martin ones.

However if I walked up to the door and seen the "no-guns" sign, I would simply take my business elsewhere.

this guy as an intellectual. I guess it is a lack of class. Being from the South myself I understand his sensitivity to the lack of respect we get when one hears our accent. That can be easily countered once someone hears that you know what you are talking about, unless every other word is "Fuck" or "Fuck that fuckin mother fucker!"
As to Toby Keith, he is spot on, that tool has used his ignorant Fox News/Rush Limpballs fan base by producing a string of pseudo-patriotic songs to build his macho, tough guy "Merkin" image and make half a billion dollars. He hits all of the RW talking points in his songs right down to being wrong about the McDonald's coffee case, like the poor woman got millions of dollars for nothing (she had her clit and labia removed for 3rd degree burns caused by a greedy corporation who super heated their coffee to make it fresh longer knowing it was severely burning some of their customers)! Typical "I got mine, FU!" Now his fans feel betrayed because he dares to put a reasonable restriction on guns. He needs to dance with the ones that brung him and let them bring their loaded guns in and drink. They will prove once again why there needs to be reasonable restrictions on guns. Let them assume the risk just by going in there. Maybe he could have everyone sign releases in order to come in!
