Thom Hartmann: 10 years later, Bin Laden & Al Qaida have won...

Robert Parry, Consortium News joins Thom Hartmann. Al Qaeda is back - with a vengeance. Islamic militants linked to the terrorist group have taken over two Iraqi cities - almost 10 years after the American military took those same cities from insurgents during the bloody early days of the Iraq War. Has Bush's Invasion of Iraq doomed the people of the Middle East to decades of sectarian violence?

it was about keeping oil prices low and the Middle East in chaos until their oil runs out. After that, who really cares about the Middle East?
OBL's' publicly stated utlimate goal was to bankrupt the United States, there's a section of public opinion that would have to say that to some degree, OBL had achieved it.

injuries in the thousands from these two 'incursions', the trillions spent 'off the books' by GWShrub and his cabal will fade into history but the cost for care of these wounded vets won't. And I will keep saying, the stated goal of OBL to bankrupt the US is fact and 'voodoo economics' can cover lies by the PTB'S just so long. The wounded vets from all countries of the 'coalition' forces, with both apparent and not so apparent wounds are the real 'victims' of GWShrubs BIG LIE. The hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilian casualties are the real victims of GWShrubs BIG LIE . The ongoing chaos in Iraq is the real legacy, ongoing, of our greed for oil and profit. Yeah, OBL with the help of GWSHRUB, the RW rethugs, PNAC, some democrats and the banks have achieved their goal. I agree.

That whole immoral cabal of war criminals makes me puke. Them and their corporate media whores even to this day say they would do the same thing again.
