Really good video, a clear and simple explanation about why such cold weather is experienced with global warming. Just my speed. Of course, for republicans, there will never be a good explanation they will accept. The only criteria they look for is whether or not it supports their narrow-minded, skewed perspective on the world.

that those talking heads that aren't climate scientists or meteorologists or who have little to no knowledge about climate, probably aren't the best sources for advice about climate?

My favorite line/gesture to use on these RWNJ repeaters is to agree with and thank them for confirming what you had suspicions about; that climate change was a hoax. Then immediately follow that up with, 'so you're a climate scientist or meteorologist or something along those lines, right?' And when they so no, they're a Realtor or an insurance salesman, etc, make that look on your face like WTF and walk away.

Why should I believe the scientific explanation of a learned gentleman like this over the nonsensical ramblings of an Oxycontin-junky with a radio show?

In the midwest, where I'm situated right now taking care of my aging mother. It's disturbing to see the number of monster pickup trucks running around with ignorant RW bumperstickers, pouring gallons of fossil fuels on their transports to haul home two bags of groceries. I've gotten into "discussions" that go nowhere with a couple of these freaks my brother knows here. The things they've been sold by Fox News and RW radio pundits is so glaringly unbelievable yet they fall for it all hook, line, sinker.
One of them started preaching some kind of god-and-guns justification for (implied... white-bred) americans to be entitled to burn up more resources out of skewed biblical old testament garbage. I was so completely baffled by this insane twist of logic, I can't wait to get back to work in the bay area and just be 900 miles away from this.
OP: Ought to re-post this video in the multimedia blog. I'd do it but my old computer seems to like to glitch out doing that lately.
