I think this is where so many have it so wrong about President Obama ... from his statements, he doesn't see his efforts as something he should take credit for, because it's not about him. Notice, the vast majority of his "Look what we (not I ... we) have done" statements are on the campaign trail, or connected to a furthering initiative.

are still hurting. But it is appropriate to brag about that on shows that concentrate on business issues.

Where the economic improvement is since Detroit happened and is happening all over the US. Inflated numbers from a business cycle are not equal to real growth. I am glad Obama at least hasn't started an austerity campaign like Romney would have but he is far far away from a FDR-style recovery.
