I wish Moyers and others would stop referring to the very real problems he is describing as "this town's" and lay the blame squarely at the feet of the system and the people responsible for the problems. I understand why he does it, but it tars many people here with a broad brush who have nothing to do with causing those problems, many of whom are also victimized.

Name names, Bill, and be specific about what is wrong with the system. You're completely right but change won't occur until the Tim Russert wannabes and corporate sellouts in Congress are publicly shamed consistently, such that their bad behavior costs them viewers, readers, or votes.
