"Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) said on Tuesday that Democrats will never be able to regain a majority in Georgia without enlisting the votes of "illegal aliens." According to Georgia Public Broadcasting, the arch conservative ex-physician believes that the Republicans will reign uncontested over Georgia for decades to come.

"The only way Georgia is going to change is if we have all these illegal aliens in here in Georgia, and give them the right to vote. It would be morally wrong, it would be illegal to do so, under our current law," Broun said.

"Actually, all these illegal aliens are getting federal largesse and taking taxpayer's dollars. That's the only way this state is going to become Democratic again, in the next number of decades," he went on."* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

....No offense to MDs, but give me an fucking break. He's a former MD. A physician and apparently not a very good one. Um Broun, you fucking ass, evolutionary theory underpins all of modern biology. All of it. You may have at one time had a relatively rudimentary understanding of human physiology and some specialty of medical practice, but I doubt seriously if you are expert enough in cosmology to state that the big bang is straight from the pit of a fictional place.

5. I've often wondered if some people are born with a "God Gene." which I lack.

How else to explain all the highly educated politicians and other public figure who take the Bible (had to stop and think whether to capitalize these terms but went with the standard) as literal truth. I'm not brilliant, but was taught to THINK ( why I'm Agnostic. rather than fully Atheist). The only alternative explanation is that those such as Broun are peddling a total crock of shit to a public that they think of as morons.
