Dr Jason Box on "Warm Arctic, Cold Continents"

http://climatecrocks.com/2014/02/06/dr-jason-box-on-warm-arctic-cold-continents/

While it’s easy to understand that abnormal summer warmth promotes high melting, winter warming also promotes melting through the loss of snow, ice, and land “cold content”. The higher the ground temperature, the fewer degrees of heating it takes to reach the melting point. Thus, winter warming preconditions the surface for earlier melt onset and more melting overall.

That’s one reason why this January’s Arctic climate concerns me. Greenland temperatures have remained more than 5 degrees C above average after the first week of the year. The snowpack heating the abnormal warmth increase the likelihood of an earlier melt onset and above average Greenland melting this coming summer.

The most unsettling part of the movie was that Global Warming inevitably leads to Ice Ages, usually within ten years. That was ten years ago.

who use the "winters are colder than ever so this proves that global warming is crap" "logic."

Again, it comes down to our inferior educational system and the RW propaganda that is rarely questioned, especially in the MSM, where most Americans get their "facts" from.

This is another example of TPTB (exploitative elites) twisting facts, to fit a narrative that allows them to continue raping the
world for profit. Consequences be damned, the "I've got mine, screw everyone else", mentality that has become the norm
since saint Ronnie's handlers declared that trickle down is a good thing

Seriously, the wall street handlers of an aging "B actor" with Alzheimer's, still has many, many Americans convinced that the process of deregulation, tax cuts for the wealthy, casino banking, science denial, wage reductions, no collective bargaining, govt. secrecy,
world dominance, etc.. is the direction that America should take in order to prosper.

I didn't understand then and 30+ years later, I am amazed at the power of propaganda.
Sadly, catastrophically, if we allow this greed inspired NWO to continue any longer, Humans as a species will become extinct.
This reply is not a political endorsement. Most of our current politicians, in no way represent the needs of the vast majority of Americans. IMO, if they did, they would (at least) be honest about who ran the Reagan Whitehouse and the complete absurdity of the direction that America took since his reign (in name only).
IMO, unless we quickly renounce our current 2 party system and get to work on the future for humanity we will be an anomaly
in the history of earth. It will take all of us to move past the pettiness of our current, wealth based, caste system and to put "Fairness"
at the top of our leadership goals.
Only after we do this, can we earnestly work together on our priority; to heal our planet and to make the lives of each individual, a life that is just and plentiful.
In my limited life observations, a President Bernie Sanders has proven that he has the selflessness and progressive vision
to fairly usher in a new paradigm, one based on being a good steward and not allowing the demands of the moneyed few
over-ride the needs of the people and our planet.
