The climate deniers should be isolated on a tiny Pacific atoll and left to "survive" the no climate change phenomena.
We are clearly seeing climate change. That is a FACT.
Whether man's activities are contributing or responsible is perhaps not so clear but most climate scientists suggest our activity is at least exacerbating the earth's warming which will and is having an effect on the climate and from there on the weather.

(18,998 posts)And I have never seen them cover the big picture...usualy it is just here in the US and not even all of the US...just where the "big story" is.
I would bet that most people don't even know the UK is having these storms if they watch the MSM.

Any southerner can tell in a mini-second after seeing those hook and eye rotating wind patterns.
A hurricane in winter...I am gobsmacked.
Really sorry, Britain, that we exported such bad weather to you.

(24,010 posts)OF COURSE the greenhouses gasses that our civilization has been pouring into the atmosphere, with escalating toxicity, for a hundred years, is causing, a) rise in ocean temperatures; b) huge, extreme, repeated weather catastrophes; c) melting of the polar ice caps; d) swamping of islands, island countries and coastal areas; and, furthermore, e) exacerbating the already in-progress extinction of species!
That's a no-brainer.
And all of this is going to get worse, as we continue pouring greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

I follow news on Latin America, so I can tell you that the BBC has gone corporate. It's very noticeable on everything to do with the Latin America's hugely successful leftist democracy movement. The BBC is terrible on Latin American issues, almost as bad as the Wall Street Urinal, the New York Slimes, the Associated Pukes, Rotters and other Wall Street/bankster propagandists. So it's no surprise to see this kind of corporate crap on climate change from the BBC.
