The local news in Chicago besides gun killing has Ed Shultz in a radio wrestling if you channel switch with Rush Limbaugh.

Seems recently with Ed, the news flips between Union stuff, and XL pipeline. However, Limbaugh is on some type of philosophical rant about Republican politics. It was interesting how Limbaugh would talk about having dinner or a luncheon with top level politicians then whip right into cutting food stamps for the poor. It was so crazy weird to hear his whirlpool political Bullwinkle. Limbaugh needs to watch Mr. Peabody and his boy.

The other day Rahm Emanuel mayor of Chicago introduced a plan to tax hazmat moving through Chicago.

Wow that is something. Actually many wonder are the rail roads taxed like the truck traffic?

Train vibration in this cold weather does effect the infrastructure that can brake water and sewer pipes. Moreover, there is an OSHA complaint with the Union Pacific rail road. They are caught abusing the safety and training briefings that bias individuals at the same time ditch injuries reports.

There are laws against them in every state. There are laws that constrain how they collect dues, how they take votes, how they strike, and on and on. All of this controlled by an anti-worker board at the federal level.

It's amazing we have any Unions remaining in the US. And fools like to call this "free" markets.

We need workers to organize but call themselves something else besides a Union to get around all the anti-worker restrictions on Unions.
