Seems like there are a lot of Russians in the Ukraine and they are aligned with Moscow. Geographically, there seems to be segments of Ukraine that want true independence, other areas that want to maintain their association with Russia. This seems to be escalating and I don't know how it can end without even more bloodshed and destruction.
