but I wanna know how the hell they propose holding it steady over raging infernos as he contends they can do. Fire bombers have one heck of a bumpy ride as they pass thru the rising heat - and so this plastic-skinned slug is gonna just hover there?

Not the way HE talks about it.

Granted, this thing may be more air-stable than a helo, but the column of heat over a major fire is not gonna make "accuracy" in load placement as easy as he makes it sound.

Very cool aircraft, though. I can think of lots of other applications.

With winds inbound exceeding the max Airspeed, plus the decrease in Density Altitude from the heat.

Ever watch these videos with close captioning? The words do not match what is being said.

Does Youtube or the company that makes the video do the close captioning?
