If the crowd has to stifle laughter, you're doin' it wrong.

It was a Creed song posing as the national anthem.

their singer went goofy. But this...it goes from cheese to complete camp, it's in a league of its own.

Part of me wants to think that these guys are a satire band - like this is every conservative stereotype of what we liberals think of them, but then again somehow I doubt it. Somewhere Bill Hicks is spinning in his grave.

Hey..... I could understand the lyrics all the way through, and that's something you DON'T get with most contemporary artists nowdays. The event organizers couldn't have been shooting for a grade school rendition when they hired this band and they got what they were looking for, I'd wager.

So this makes them odious. Forgive me for judging the performance in question on it's own merit.

That was almost, but not quite, as nauseating as that Lee Greenwood 'Proud to be an American' tune.

Upon further thinking, this is probably the first and only time I've ever seen a hard rock singer croon.

But, if a liberal band took that much artistic liberty with the national anthem, the right wing fucks would be screeching like a chimp with his dick in a vise.
